The Village of Patchogue Community Development Agency (CDA) was established in 1980 It is federally funded by the Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The basic purpose of the CDA is to help low to moderate income people. The Patchogue Village CDA is limited to helping those
income eligible village residents.
The Village Mayor and Board of Trustees appoint the members of the CDA board. Currently, the following citizens serve on the board:

THE CDA MEETS ON THE FIRST THURSDAY OF EACH MONTH AT 7:00 PM. AT THE PATCHOGUE VILLAGE BOARD ROOM. THE PUBLIC IS INVITED.

Mission Statement
The mission of the Village of Patchogue Community Development
Agency is to provide a suitable living environment and viable community
for all Village residents through the development of community improvement
projects and to provide safe, decent and sanitary housing conditions for very
low-income families.
CDA PROGRAM

Director. (Telephone (631) 475-8851). To qualify for any direct benefit programs, you must currently live within the Village of Patchogue. In addition, your total household income must not exceed certain levels. There are
also other non-direct CDA sponsored programs, which everyone in the community derives some benefits. See direct and indirect programs described below.
SECTION 8:
The Housing Choice Voucher Program administered by Carmen Maldonado
assists lower income families and senior citizens in meeting their rental
payments. This program requires landlords to keep the housing stock in
sound physical condition. The waiting list is currently closed.

2. Belzak Park - Total redesign and rehabilitation
3. West Lake Lighting Project
4. Rose Avenue Parking Project - Partial Funding
4. Recreation Parking Lots - Refurbished associated with Recreation
Department
6. Ballfield Improvement Project - Four Ball Fields - Redesign and
rehabilitation - Multi Year in phases
7. Father Tortora Park - Complete redesign and renovation
8. Village Bandshell - Rehabilitated
9. Four Sisters Park - Redesigning and replacing the backstop and fencing
10. Shorefront Park - Replacing fencing, installing new bleachers and
installing foul poles
11. Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts - Funding of marquee
project, bar renovations, electrical work, as well as general construction
projects
12. Shorefront Park Walking Track - 1/4 mile track with a memorial area to the
victims of the September 11th tragedies, especially local residents
13. The rehabilitation of the Four Sisters tennis courts on Boyle Lane, as
well as replacement of the tennis court fencing
14. A continuation of the CDA's efforts to rehabilitate our ballfields by
the replacement of perimeter fencing that runs north to south at the
Clemente/Pump House and 90' fields
15. Refurbishment of the Church Street parking lot
16. The purchase of period lighting for S Ocean Avenue.
17. Refurbishment of the Fire Department parking lot.
18. Refurbishment of the Village Hall parking lot.
19. Rehabilitation of 48 West Sixth Street property
