B.I.D Accomplishments this past year include

1. Finished administering the 2008, $200,000 NYS Main Street Grant, receiving an excellent rating from New York State in their audit of this program.
2. Continued to administer the 2010, $500,000 NYS Main Street Grant along South Ocean Avenue & West Main Street. To date four projects have been completed, with four more under way and two additional projects in waiting. A streetscape project for West Main Street is also planned.
3. Commissioned a "Tiered Parking Feasibility Study" for the Village's four main municipal parking fields. This study not only outlined the feasibility of tiered parking decks in these four lots, but it also offered other solutions to alleviate parking problems, many of them much less expensive than a parking deck. This study is available for viewing on our website, www.patchoguebid.com.
4. Commissioned a second study with regard to parking for a "Way-Finding Sign System". This study would show where to strategically place and color code signs to parking fields to help direct patrons of the Village to the proper parking lot for particular venues. Examples might be "Theatre Parking", "Main Street Parking", "Retail & Restaurant Parking", etc.
5. Garnered a $3,000 grant from Suffolk County to improve the streetscape of the Waverly Traffic Circle and surrounding area. The BID will now assume maintenance for this area in our annual gardening budget.
6. Worked with CDA Office to develop a marketing program to promote doing business in Patchogue Village in hope of being able to market the Village at Business to Business venues. Our first venue was at the SCCC Campus in Brentwood, NY on May 24, 2012. The venue was sponsored by the Hauppauge Industrial Association (HIA).
7. Professional weeding of curing and pavers on Main Street, South Ocean Avenue and Oak Street, including the Oak Street parking field and Route 112 (Medford Avenue).
