MISSION STATEMENT

The Patchogue Business Improvement District Management Association Inc. ("PDMA") is dedicated to the continuanace of the innovative delivery of public services. It has provides and continues promoting activities to attract shoppers, clients, investors and businesses to the District, as well as supporting projects designed to stimulate economic growth and community well being.

Your Tax Dollars at Work Through the BID

1. Employ a full time maintenace worker for street cleaning, ect.
2. Purchasing and maintaining the hanging flowering basket program throughout the Village in the summer.
3. Flower box and garden plantings throughout Village parking fields including the railroad station.
4. Tree and planter watering maintenance.
5. Purchasing and providing holiday decorations and lighting, including off season storage and maintenance.
6. Financial suport of the Patchogue Chamber of Commerce. Financial support to help promote Theater venues. Financial support to hlep promote Department of Recreation events, including parades, concers and power boat races.
7. A five year, $30,000 a year commitment with three years remaining, to help support the dredging of Patchogue River.
8. Professional weeding of curbing and pavers on Main Street, South Ocean Avenue and Oak Street.

B.I.D Accomplishments this past year include

1. Administering the 2010, $500,00, NY Main Street Grant making significant positive improvments to South Ocean Avenue, the Four Corners and West Main Street. Please e-mail or call Dennis Smith at 475-4300 ext. 145 for more information.
2. Made application for a second NYS Main Street Grant in the April 2010 round of funding.
3. Streamlining BID communications electronically.
4. The re-planting of the Waverly Avenue Spur Park after YMCA construction.
